What We Do

We support kids in hospitals all over the country, and this includes supporting their families during what is often a difficult time.

What kind of support do we provide?

  • Medically recommended distraction in the form of either toys, music, art & craft, DVDs, an experience, or whatever the child's nurse/social worker says will really put a smile on their face, and hopefully neutralise some of the stress of their situation
  • Logistical support to get their family by their side: accommodation, transport
  • Simple and effective gestures such as TLC Courtesy Packs, to allow a parent to freshen up in cases where they may have rushed their child to hospital with no time to pack a bag for themselves
  • On-hand distraction tools for nurses to use to guide kids through frightening and painful procedures, currently in use in around 400 hospitals nationwide.
