TLC for Kids’ Gold Coast Auxiliary is a team of amazing volunteers dedicated to raising local funds for local kids on the Gold Coast.
Spearheaded by Dale Mansfield, the team holds fundraisers with the core mission of helping TLC for Kids maintain the Rapid TLC Service and Distraction Box Program for children and their families in the Gold Coast area.
The RAPID TLC Program is the fastest referral system of its kind in Australia. Approved healthcare professionals can contact TLC for Kids to request free emotional and practical support for sick children in need, and their families, within 24 – 48 hours.
This program focuses especially on helping those who don’t meet the criteria of other major charities, in addition to helping children suffering debilitating or life-threatening illnesses. This might include:
The TLC for Kids Distraction™ Box Program is designed to give nurses and healthcare professionals the perfect tools to guide young children through painful examinations and procedures.
The Box is placed in medical rooms and contains items that engage the attention of the child; complement the procedure; comply with hospital infection control protocols; and divert attention away from the procedure.
Stay tuned for more information about events and activities, as well as ways that you can help TLC for Kids’ Gold Coast Auxiliary.

TLC for Kids Gold Coast Auxiliary is proud to announce the Australian Timeshare Holiday Ownership Council as a Major Local Partner! ATHOC has kicked off the partnership by so very generously donating $10,000 to help local kids on the Gold Coast.
We would like to introduce you to our very first ‘Friend of TLC’ – an Ambassador Role with TLC for Kids Gold Coast Auxiliary: Miss Dominique Loudon – Sports Reporter with Nine Gold Coast News.
Dominique is a born and bred Gold Coaster who went to All Saints Anglican School. She then moved to Sydney to commence her journalism degree, which she finished on the Gold Coast. Dominique has worked for Nine Gold Coast News, NBN Television, Gold FM, Sea FM & Hot Tomato. Dominique is the youngest of 3 siblings. Her Dad sadly passed away when she was 7, and she is very close to her siblings & Mum, who now lives in Burleigh Heads. Family is extremely important to Dominique.
When asked why she is happy to come on board with TLC, she replied: ‘I met Dale Mansfield through a story I was covering a few years ago, I was immediately taken with her enthusiasm and commitment to helping others. Her team of volunteers boost infectious smiles & can-do attitudes, and I am extremely happy to join the TLC Family’.
Since becoming an Aunty 17 months ago, Dominique has realised how special & precious children are & how abundant a parent’s love is for their child. She loves the fact there is a charity such as TLC for Kids, who is on hand to offer RAPID TLC Requests to sick children in our local hospitals.
