Melbourne Town Hall dacks up!

City of Melbourne were already known for their quirky and fun approach to things; embracing the city’s arts and culture has made Melbourne what it is.. (the best in the country!). OK we’re biased.

The council came on board for Tracky Dack Day by generously providing Town Hall and City Square for our promotional purposes, and we can’t thank them enough. Lord Mayor Robert Doyle got into the spirit as you can see in the photo below, pictured with some of the City Village tenants (other non profits like us!).

This amazing opportunity meant we could drape the building in trackies, sparking huge curiosity from thousands of city-goers who stopped, took photos and asked questions. This is exactly the kind of stunt required to get the attention of the masses.

Veteran news anchor (ex Channel Ten), George Donikian, spoke to media on the day to help educate the public on the problems TLC for kids is addressing and the purpose behind this special campaign.

This is not the first time City of Melbourne has shown great generosity toward TLC for kids. In fact, City of Melbourne provides us with our office space at a heavily subsidised rate, along with all other non-profits in our Bourke Street building, City Village. This makes the council one of our biggest supporters.
