Thank you for your generosity!

As the festive season came to a close, we were reminded of the power of community. Thanks to the generosity of supporters across Australia, TLC for Kids’ Christmas Toy Drive created meaningful moments for children and families when they were needed most.

Hundreds of new toys were donated, helping us more than double the number of gifts distributed compared to the previous year. From sports balls and board games to creative play items and teen gifts, every donation was thoughtfully selected and delivered to children supported by TLC for Kids.

These toys continue to make an impact beyond December, with remaining donations supporting new requests throughout the year. To everyone who contributed, thank you for helping TLC for Kids provide care, comfort, and positive moments for children and families across the country.

Santa visits with TLC for Kids

One of the highlights of the Christmas Toy Drive was seeing Santa join the TLC for Kids team to deliver gifts to children supported through our Rapid TLC Service. Travelling in the TLC Ambulance, Santa visited families across Melbourne over two days, delivering toys and creating positive moments during the festive period.

For many children, these visits brought genuine excitement and connection. Seeing gifts arrive at their doorstep helped turn a regular day into something memorable, made possible by the generosity of our supporters.

Support that continues beyond December

Not all toys were delivered during the festive season. Many continue to be used throughout the year as new requests come in, ensuring donated toys keep supporting children and families when they need it most.

To every donor, sponsor, and supporter, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Your generosity turned what could have been a difficult holiday season into a time of joy and hope for so many families.

TLC for Kids and Essendon Fields unite for the Christmas Toy Drive

Our annual Christmas Toy Drive returns with the support of Essendon Fields. Every toy donated goes straight to the families we support, bringing joy and support sick children and their families.

While Christmas is a time for joy, connection, and celebration, for families with children in hospitals, it’s often a challenging period filled with worry and financial strain. Instead of sharing festive traditions, these families face the demanding reality of caring for a seriously ill child.

We are always there to help. Our mission goes beyond simply providing toys, we aim to give families a sense of relief, creating moments of joy that offer them a brief escape from their every day worries.

How you can make a difference:

• Monday 1st December to Friday 19th December
  • Monday – Friday: 9.30 am – 4.30 pm
