Neil Mitchell’s TLC Ambulance Appeal was an amazing success!

TLC for Kids would like to give a big thank you to all the donors of Neil Mitchell’s TLC Ambulance Appeal yesterday – it was everything we hoped for and more.

Our goal was to raise $115,000 to help with the fit-out of the new specially-designed ambulance that will help put a smile on the faces of terminally ill children.

Yesterday, $315,000 in direct donations were made, along with over $218,000 worth of vouchers, good and equipment.

Altogether, the community raised over $533,000 for TLC for Kids! Now, we are turning our sights to getting a second vehicle on the road – meaning that we would be able to support double the amount of palliative children.

More than 80 paramedics have already volunteered their time for free to help transport the sick children around.

A message from Paramedic Jemima Tawse –

All the money can go towards the required equipment and maintenance.

How it all unfolded –

A special thank you must go to Danny Wallis and his incredibly generous team at IT consultancy company DWS.

They chipped in a truly game-changing $150,000 donation.
