Workplace Giving, as a term, does indeed encompass payroll giving, but also includes other company-supported activities like volunteering, pro-bono work, fundraising events, dollar-matched employee donations and in-kind giving. These are all giving activities that happen within, or at least supported by, a workplace. You may consider a number of ways to engage your workplace in your own giving program.
To kick things off, we recommend the simplest and quickest way to start your journey of giving by thinking about Workplace Giving. It’s an easy and effective way to give back to your favourite charity. We here at TLC for Kids like to keep things simple and easy, and that’s why we’d like to offer an alternative to traditional Workplace Giving for your consideration. TLC for Kids’ Regular Giving Program (RGP) is another great way to make a difference all-year round, and as an added bonus, it’s Tax-Deductible!
If you’re considering a workplace giving program at your place of employment, please scroll down to the bottom of this page for further information. Of course, we are here if you need any help or have any questions.
Thanks for caring for the kids and families we work with, it really is greatly appreciated.
Of course, if you are still considering traditional Workplace Giving for your employees or employer, please read on.
Regular Giving Form
If you are looking to sign up for pre-tax Workplace Giving, please read the section at the bottom of the page instead.
Workplace Giving is a simple, effective way for your workplace community to support TLC for Kids and the families we work with. Workplace giving donations are made through regular pre-tax payroll deductions, so there’s no need for a tax receipt. Just nominate your preferred donation amount via payroll and you’re ready to go! Whether you give $1 or more each pay period, the impact you and your colleagues have is powerful.
A Great Match
The impact of Workplace Giving is even greater when employers match employee Workplace Giving Donations. 82 percent of employees are more inclined to give to charity through the workplace if their employer matches donations (Australian Charities Fund Survey).
