Workplace Giving / Regular Giving Program

For your consideration

Workplace Giving, as a term, does indeed encompass payroll giving, but also includes other company-supported activities like volunteering, pro-bono work, fundraising events, dollar-matched employee donations and in-kind giving. These are all giving activities that happen within, or at least supported by, a workplace. You may consider a number of ways to engage your workplace in your own giving program.

To kick things off, we recommend the simplest and quickest way to start your journey of giving by thinking about Workplace Giving.  It’s an easy and effective way to give back to your favourite charity. We here at TLC for Kids like to keep things simple and easy, and that’s why we’d like to offer an alternative to traditional Workplace Giving for your consideration. TLC for Kids’ Regular Giving Program (RGP) is another great way to make a difference all-year round, and as an added bonus, it’s Tax-Deductible!

  • Our RGP is a simple monthly deduction from your nominated debit or credit card, PayPal or bank account.
  • All funds raised are directed towards the continuation of the vital programs and services TLC for Kids provides sick children and their families.
  • Each July, you will receive a tax-receipt for your ongoing generous donations of which you can claim on your tax return.
  • It’s just like Workplace Giving, only slightly different! By choosing the RGP, you claim your Tax deduction at the end of the financial year, as opposed to Workplace Giving which lowers your Taxable income each pay cycle. However, at the end of the year, they both have exactly the same benefit to you and the organisation you support (being us)

If you would like to become a valued member of the RGP – Regular Giving Program, please complete the form below. If you’re considering a workplace giving program at your place of employment, please scroll down to the bottom of this page for further information. Of course, we are here if you need any help or have any questions.

Thanks for caring for the kids and families we work with, it really is greatly appreciated.

To join the RGP, follow these 3 easy steps…

  1. Think of how much spare change, or number of coffees each week you could afford to go without (or tea, juice, milkshake, smoothie, or any other beverage)
  2. Fill in your details in the Regular Giving Form and hit submit
  3. Enjoy all the benefits and feel the pride that comes from being a valued member of the RGP who stepped up and showed they cared.
  4. I know we said 3 steps, but the 4th step is really just sharing the good news with your friends on your social media using our hashtags,  #tlcforkids   #icare4TLC   #TLCRGP

And that’s it, by following these simple steps, you can help make a difference in the life of a sick child and their family.

Thank you!

Of course, if you are still considering traditional Workplace Giving for your employees or employer, please read on.

Regular Giving Form

Workplace Giving

Workplace Giving is a simple, effective way for your workplace community to support TLC for Kids and the families we work with. Workplace giving donations are made through regular pre-tax payroll deductions, so there’s no need for a tax receipt. Just nominate your preferred donation amount via payroll and you’re ready to go! Whether you give $1 or more each pay period, the impact you and your colleagues have is powerful.

A Great Match

The impact of Workplace Giving is even greater when employers match employee Workplace Giving Donations. 82 percent of employees are more inclined to give to charity through the workplace if their employer matches donations (Australian Charities Fund Survey).
