Supporter Spotlight: Ralph Alphonso
Ralph Alphonso
Ralph is a long-time supporter of TLC for Kids and sits on our board of directors. He is an amazing photographer and innovator, and was recently featured on Grand Designs Australia for his 5×4 Hayes Lane Project. According to its website, the mission of the 5×4 Hayes Lane Project is to “utilise a small, urban footprint of land to construct a liveable dwelling.” The building is:
A unique, inner-city dwelling set on a tiny footprint – 5×4 meters! The entire build is designed, built and powered with passive and active eco-driven processes, materials and performance considerations.
The 5×4 Hayes Lane Project demonstrates and encourages discussion around sustainable living, a healthy form of densification in the city of Melbourne and how to achieve it through best practice design and living.
And, looking closer at the images and video, we spotted the handiwork of another supporter of TLC for Kids – Barnaby!
As it turns out, Comer & King were in charge if the interior design of the project. Love it!
We’re proud to see our supporters innovating and excelling in their fields.
Congratulations Ralph, and thanks for your support.
