2019 Schepisi Communications Golf Day – Melbourne

The annual Schepisi Communications Charity Golf Day was held in Melbourne on the Friday 18th of October, 2019. At a stunning 23 degrees, Huntingdale was the perfect setting for a day of golf and fundraising for our participating 60 players.

Over $20,000 was raised on the day – just incredible! That means that we can assist 40 families with practical support during times of financial or emotional crisis. Alternatively, our Distraction Boxes can provide distraction and guidance during 27,000 procedures across the country, or our TLC Ambulance can transform the final days of 20 palliative children

The event wouldn’t have been possible without the contributions of many committed people. Special thanks to John Lisle, Ben Giblett and Andrew Schepisi from Schepisi Communications, as well as the TLC for Kids Events Team, for dedicating themselves to the event, and to Huntingdale Golf Club for hosting us. We would also like to thank our MC Shura Taft and special guests Gary Peer, Scott McGregor and Sam Groth for speaking on the day.

Sponsorship is a vital part of the Schepisi Communications Charity Golf Days, and this year was no exception. Special thanks to major sponsor Aria Technologies, our Hole in One Sponsor Mercedes-Benz Berwick, and our Hole Sponsors Brightstar, Cloud Collective, Gary Peer, Keller, Lifesize, Penders Accountants, Schepisi Communications, and Telstra.

We would also like to give special mention to the individuals and organisations who, by sponsoring Distraction Boxes, have invested in the well being of sick kids undergoing traumatic procedures.

Their generosity on the day will help thousands of sick children overcome pain and fear during procedures, reducing anxiety, turnaround times, and the need for sedation.

Thank you once again to all those who participated in the event. Please enjoy the photo gallery below.
